As one would assume, amongst the states with access to legal marijuana (both medical and recreational) some states’ residents consume more marijuana than others. 24/7 Wall St. took a poll of those over the age of 12 who used marijuana at least one time in the past calendar year.
Expectedly, where marijuana is restricted the least, we see higher usage rates, with the four states with legal recreational use coming in amongst the top. Otherwise, the other states listed are amongst those where medical marijuana is legal and residents can obtain medicinal cannabis for a variety of uses including cancers, PTSD, glaucoma, epileptic seizures, HIV/AIDS, chronic pain, Crohn’s disease, and eating disorders.
